This is the Debian GNU/Linux prepackaged version of tkirc, a frontend
for unix's ircII, a client for the Internet Relay Chat

from sources obtained from:
  ftp.infodrom.north.de/pub/unix/network/irc/tkirc/tkirc1.128.tar.gz

Look at /usr/doc/tkirc/readme to get a feeling of what tkirc is.
Please take a look at its web page at http://home.pages.de/~tkirc/,
too. On that page you'll also find some sample scripts.

If you know how to use ircII, you should not have any problems to use
tkirc after installation.
