Ditty is a toy. A fun toy.

It is intended to run on linux, and especially to be compiled using
the GNU Compiler Collection. It may well be that it runs on other
systems. Who knows? But I have not expended any effort to write
PORTABLE CODE in this case, so it could take some tweaking...

Accompanying files named *.dit are files you may input into ditty.

these files - they are meant only for example.

SUGGESTIONS FOR USE:

Some things that may make ditty fun to use are:
  - as sound-effects in a shell-script,
  - to make a wierd videogame-like noise-thingy whenever you log in
(via .bash_login), or logout (via .bash_logout).
  - (Other uses?)
